So finally booked to start the PPL(H)

Sweated like hell last night. That’s what happens when I don’t drink anything, my body get’s rid of all it’s moisture in objection. At one stage we took the duvet off and turned it over as it was so wet. I got bored at 6AM and let the dogs out and towelled off. The bed stinks, one day we may change the duvet. The cleaners are coming tomorrow, they may condemn it.

Work was back on doing what I was supposed to be doing, which is fine, except I’m waiting on bits from 3rd party companies which is always a bit annoying. Still plenty to keep me occupied at the moment.

Went out early evening and looked for a cache, didn’t find it, but did find the magnet. Then found another one and had another look for one I looked for previously, and still didn’t find it.

Made a phone call to captain Kenwright, who’s now moved companies to one across the car park. Still he seemed okay, so will happily stick with him. It’s £312 a pop. Multiply that by about 60, in fact don’t, it will scare you. Anyway, booked for a late one on Thursday, weather looks good then so should be fun. I get to fly all of it this time and do an off airport landing, last time I tried that I almost took a tree out. And then their’s hovering, probably the less said about that the better.

Sorting out the artwork

Got straight on with it this morning, although we were all up at about 5AM for a peeing session. I topped up on water, everything was fine.

Work wise I had a couple of issues to sort in x64, the first was just an alignment problem, the second more interesting turned out to be a compiler bug, fun fun.

Walked the dogs. Went to BodyCombat, that was hard work tonight, no combat next week due to the bank holiday. Came back and did some more work, got some fun stuff to do tomorrow. I’ve got two cuts on my fingers , which are rather annoying as it’s where I need to hold the cyclic, hopefully it will heal quickly.

Jamie is trying to sort out the artwork for the arcade cabinet, now we’ve finally worked out what options we are going to have.

“Can you cum on my face?”, “Do you mind if I have breakfast first?”

So woke up this morning having survived Jamie’s cooking with no ill effects. Mind you Dillon threw up on the floor, but he didn’t have any of it. Jamie was getting rather amorous but managed to get him out of bed long enough to let the dogs out. It then took further persuasion before I got my breakfast. Then I thought we were going for a full bumming session but instead was requested to cum on his face. Whatever, saves a lot of buggering around with lubricant (if I’m feeling nice). Fapping away is all well and good except when one of the dogs is starring at you, now I have trouble maintaining an erection just looking at Jamie, but when you have a dog with a massive head nicely sat by the side of the bed giving you evils, it does kind of put you off your stroke. Sasha has learnt how to cope with all this quite well, she dives under the bed, sticks her iPod on and listens to J.S.Bark. Dillon will learn, meanwhile much toilet paper was used clearing up the sticky mess.

I got up and cleared up the garden of dog shit. I then had two boiled eggs. Jamie was milking cleaning up the kitchen, which means most of it will need doing again anyway. I cleaned the spare bathroom and shampoo’d the vomit on Jamie’s carpet. I then dived out with my GPS and after a good start it all went a bit tits up, I walked for miles and only managed five. Came back and picked up the petrol cans. Popped over to Tesco’s and bought 85 litres. Bath time.

Five more Gromits found

Today it rained and was rather miserable. I’ve felt pretty tired all day so didn’t get up until quite late. Walked the dogs, probably wasn’t as exciting as they’d like but it was pissing down.

Had some lunch. Then started out on the Gromit trail again. Oddly I programmed in the wrong road on the sat-nav, so the one I was going for I was nowhere near. Ended up quite close to another one though. Drove round five in the end, where it continued to constantly rain. Picked up some crickets and a paper. Also ended up by Machine Mart, so popped in and picked up a new hose for the compressor. Visited mother.

Came back and fell asleep with Jamie. Actually fell asleep with Jamie and two dogs, who actually make pretty comfortable cushions.

Did the accounts. Paid the balance on the holiday and printed out the vouchers, so that’s all down.

Jamie is cooking tonight. This could be interesting. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow, or it may be time to do more work on the dining room.

The joys of 64 bit

A bit peed off that the laptop I was after in Tesco’s isn’t in stock and now the offers ended. Never mind, give it a week and they’ll have another one. Shopping arrived, it was uneventful.

Today I’ve been working on a 64 bit version of our current project. And at the end of the day (and it’s been a very long one), it mostly all works. There have been a few fun tasks along the way, sorting out scene graphs, various memory allocation issues. Anyway, it’s been quite good fun really. There’s still quite a bit of work to do on it, but will get it all going fairly quickly. I can then move on to what I’m supposed to be doing.

Went to pump. The view was greatly improved by a lovely young blonde called ‘Daryl’, he’s a dancer apparently. He can come swivel on my pole anytime.

Bath time.

Really must start choppering again

So now the teeth have been fixed. Next job is the arcade cabinet, which is pretty much in progress, just a few more things to get sorted. Once I have the final quote for that I think it’s time to start choppering again. Not that the weather will help with that at the moment.

Today has all been about 64 bit again, and scene graphs. Not a huge amount of progress made, but it’s a fairly complex area and there’s a hell of a lot of testing and iteration involved, so it’s a slow process.

Walked the dogs, they were fine, had a bit of a run in with Molly, but no issues. Even went for a run, partly in the rain, but quite pleasant all the same.

Now already for torture porn night, although tonight I think I’ll go for the drama.

A drilling and a filling

Today started again rather normally. Took Sasha to daycare. Dillon missed her. Still working on 64 bit conversion stuff, all going okay. Then took a break to go to the dentist. Considering I haven’t been for 18 months I got off pretty lightly. I was supposed to only have a check-up, but he said he had the time if I wanted work done now, so as I was already sat there I told him to empty my wallet. Which he duly did. I had two fillings removed and replaced and another tooth reshaped. It’s not like you’re normal NHS dentist quick drill and then inject the filling, this was all hand crafted and sculpted. I now have three teeth with nice white fillings, rather than the old mercury shit. It’s just a shame that I have another fourteen to replace. It cost two-hundred and twenty odd quid. Thankfully he said he didn’t want to see me for another year and just visit the hygienest with the same regularity. So I have an appointment in a couple of weeks for that.

Came back and got back on with work. Then picked up Sasha. She was suitably tired. Jamie walked Dillon. I went for a run, it was almost raining but not quite, so actually quite pleasant running weather. Still waiting for my new running shoes, old cross country ones have lots of holes in.

So I went for a run and didn’t drink wine

Morning started fairly normally. Until the courier arrived delivering an ice making machine. It’s huge. It’s currently by the coffee machine and making it feel jealous. I think it needs relocating to the fridge stack, which needs relocating due to the arcade cabinet.

Work wise was still converting stuff to 64 bit. Well running it, watching it crash and then fixing it. It’s mildly therapeutic.

Lunchtime I left the dogs on their own and went for a run. I’ve decided with five weeks to go until the holiday it’s time to make a bit of an effort. So I’ve only eaten salad and not drank anything, well other than tea and coffee.

Finished work vaguely on time then watched TV. Had a shower and now watching more TV. Sasha off to daycare tomorrow, I’m off to the dentist. She will have more fun.

Normality resumes

This morning started off normally. No one else died. This is a good thing.

Work wise was mainly fixing up the engine on lots of different platforms. Lots of compiling.

Walked the dogs. Went to combat. Undecided what size screen we are going to have for our arcade cabinet. Need to measure things.

Oh, finally booked a dentist appointment.

Calm after the storm

Today started with a certain calmness. I let the dogs out for a pee and went back to bed. Jamie git up and fed the dogs and fed me. We stayed in bed until well after lunchtime, I wasn’t overly tired but just needed the rest, it’s been a very stressful couple of weeks.

I rang mother up as she wanted to see the new dog. I picked up all the dog poo and made boiled eggs. Mother arrived, she showed me wedding photos of someone who I’ve met about twice. Sasha mugged her, Dillon wagged his tail. She vanished.

I then went out and parked up at Oldland. Out with the GPS I found four more Geocaches, that takes me over 100 now. Came back and did the accounts. Updated the server and WordPress.

We then wandered over to the Hollow Tree pub just down the road. For pub food it was fine. Tripadvisor review duly done. I’ll watch a bit of telly and then have a bath. While in the pub I ordered an ice maker, no real idea why, it’s a gadget I guess.

I must welcome my new stalker. That must take my readership to about six now, well probably actually five as I don’t know what the wi-fi coverage is like in heaven.
